TURNAROUND TIME

If your order is time sensitive, let me know what your deadline is and I'll do my best to accommodate.

Invitations and announcements generally take two to five weeks to complete, depending on the complexity of the project. See below for information about the invitation ordering process.

 

SHIPPING INFORMATION

All orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service.

US Shipping : Packages usually spend 2-6 days in transit. Need it faster? A Priority Mail upgrade (2-3 days in transit) is available at checkout.

International Shipping : Transit times vary depending on the location, but packages can take up to one month. Please note that international orders often get held up in customs, so be patient! Depending on your location, customs fees might be applied to your package. These fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Get in touch if you would like to upgrade your international shipping.

PROOFS

Digital proofs before printing are complimentary and sent upon request only. You will not receive a proof automatically. Please double check your spelling and capitalization, as I will copy and paste your personalization directly from your order.

The best way to request a proof is by including the request in the "Comments" section on the shopping cart page. Proofs are sent no later than 2 business days after purchase (but typically much sooner!) and your order will not go into production until it is approved. Please note that if you request a proof, my current turnaround time begins after the proof is approved.

 

GIFT WRAP SERVICE

Add gift wrap to your item and it will come wrapped in kraft paper and tied with a ribbon. You can find more information on the Gift Wrap Page

 

RETURN POLICY

Due to its customized nature, personalized items can not be refunded or exchanged. On that note, I want you to be super happy with your purchase, so please contact me if there are any problems and hopefully we can work something out! If there is a mistake on my end, I will replace your item free of charge.

SALES TAX

Orders shipped to an Illinois address will be charged 10% sales tax.

LOGO PLACEMENT

The Silhouette Blue logo is printed on the back of all personalized notecards, and on the chipboard backing of notepads. If you would like your personalized product to be logo free please let me know. 

 

PAPER AND PRINTING

Silhouette Blue products are digitally flat printed with archival inks. Notecard paper is an 88lb cover bristol - heavier than standard cover weight paper, slightly textured and 25% cotton. Notepad paper is a 60lb text weight - beautifully soft and smooth. Envelopes are heavyweight with a pointed flap (white/cream envelopes have a square flap).

 

COLORS

I do my best to represent all colors perfectly. However, colors vary between computer monitors, and I can't guarantee the colors on your screen.

INVITATION ORDERING PROCESS

1) Place your order on the Silhouette Blue website.
2) Once your order is completed, you will receive an email from me requesting your invitation wording and design choices. You can see all of the customization options in the Silhouette Blue Design Elements.
3) Expect a full-color digital pdf proof emailed to you within 3 business days of submitting your details.
4) Request changes. You have 2 rounds of revisions to make everything perfect!
5) When I get the approval to print, your invitations will be shipped in 7-10 days, depending on the size of your order.
6) The whole process takes about 2 – 5 weeks.
